Annapolis Alderman & Mayoral Candidate Charged with Sex Offense & Assault

Samuel Shropshire, alderman for Annapolis’ ward 7 and a mayoral candidate, was charged last night with grabbing the crotch of a 21-year-old man in his car.

Mayor Moyer, with full support of the city council, has introduced a resolution that would allow for eminent domain to reclaim Annapolis Market House for the benefit of the city (and citizens).
Other legislation introduced includes:

Making the spraying of grafitti a misdemeanor.
Grant temporary parking permits to medical caregivers providing services to residents located in restricted parking [...]

Failed Contracts Resolution?

The city is getting $5 million from J.G. Garcete Construction Co. of Bladensburg, who did a shoddy job renovating the Annapolis Police Department building on Taylor Avenue.  The city is also going to pursue two subcontractors.
