Annapolis Alderman & Mayoral Candidate Charged with Sex Offense & Assault
Samuel Shropshire, alderman for Annapolis’ ward 7 and a mayoral candidate, was charged last night with grabbing the crotch of a 21-year-old man in his car.
He has been charged with misdemeanor assault and a fourth-degree sex offense.

Assault [5/6/09] – Annapolis Police Department officers patrolling the downtown area observed a man screaming at and punching the windows of a local restaurant. New Whole Foods Opened Yesterday
The new Whole Foods in Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole opened yesterday to much fanfare.
The 56,000 square foot store is the largest on the East Coast. Original plans called for it to be an even bigger 70,000 SF before they were scaled back.
