PSC: BGE May Resume Gas and Electric Shutoffs
The PSC has authorized BGE and other utility providers in Maryland to begin shutting off the utilities for past due accounts.
There had been a moratorium on shutoffs due to an usually high number of customers with past due accounts. More than 80,000 customers of BGE alone faced risked shutoffs before the PSC intervened.

Live Nation just announced that Fleetwood Mac is booked at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore on June 10th at 8 PM.

Annapolis Painting Services Owner Pleads Guilty
Robert Bontempo, the owner of Annapolis Painting Services, plead guilty — to knowingly hiring illegal immigrants and then laundering proceeds from that activity — in federal court on Friday. He is a resident of the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Annapolis.

Soldier Found Dead in Annapolis
An Army soldier assigned to Fort Belvoir in Virginia was found dead in Annapolis. The soldier was pronounced dead after being taken to Anne Arundel County Medical center. The body of the solider was discovered after a roommate went to check on him/her at an Annapolis residence.
The cause of the soldiers death is being investigated.
