Banks Walking Away From Foreclosures

For lack of a better word, the foreclosure epidemic is becoming “interesting.”

We’ve always heard of homeowners that walk away.  They abandon their home and the bank takes it back.

Now, with so many foreclosures, some banks don’t want the homes back and are not taking them back.  Essentially, they are the one’s walking away.

The New York Times has a story with some interesting twists.

Of course, this is not the norm, but I would bet nothing like this happened even three years ago.
